HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR AUGUST ANTIQUES & COLLECTORS AUCTION
Leighton Hall Auctions hosted their August Antiques & Collectors which marks 12 months since moving the auction house to the market town of Stone. The sale included over 560 lots, which were all under the gavel on Saturday 17th August 2024. The Sale started at 9:30am with some fantastic private collections being offered for auction to include a collection of advertising items, breweriana, Jewellery, watches and much more! Our auctioneers for the day were Toby and Rob who were busy selling until 2:30pm in what was a day full of excitement with many surprising results.
Although it was mainly the watches and jewellery sections that stole the show, there were some really strong results across all sections of the auction.
The Top 10 selling lots were as follows:
Lot 411: Rolex Oyster Perpetual' vintage wristwatch. Stainless steel case 36mm with silver tone dial.

Lot 410 - 'Rolex Oyster Royal' vintage wristwatch. Stainless steel case 32mm on Rolex stainless steel oyster bracelet

Lot 516 - Tag Heuer Carrera chronograph automatic date movement.

Lot 412 - A trio of antique silver pocket watches (3).

Lot 264 - A Jaques Staunton pattern chess set, boxwood and ebony, kings stamped 'Jaques London'.
