A pair of early 20th century wooden chairs, Bauhaus movement, attributed to Hugo Gorge (Austrian Architect 1883-1934) with later upholstery, with shaped arms, 88cm tall (2).
Vendor states these were purchased by their family who used to live and own a factory in Vienna in the early 1900s, these believed to have been bought from a department store in the early 1920s. In good condition, some scuffs and some signs of strengthening the arm joints etc. Good clean condition, repair to one arm.
