Alice Davis Hitchcock Medallion 1970 Society of Architectural Historians Award to Andor Gomme & David Walker with James Stuart Wedgwood Jasperware Cameo. This was awarded for the book 'Architecture of Glasgow', the award itself is a Wedgwood profile of the architect James Stuart, 109mm by 80mm together with an engraved plaque in a Thomas Fattorini Ltd presentation box 21cm by 14cm. The award was established in 1959 and given annually to the author of a literary work which, in the opinion of the society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain Award Committee, provides an outstanding contribution to the study or knowledge of architectural history.
