After William Nicholson, 'Characters of Romance' chromo lithographs circa 1900 to include characters such as Gargantua, Sophie Western, Baron Munchausen, Miss Haversham, Commodore Trunnion, Portos, Marge Wildfire and Mr Weller (8). Some of the backs have been replaced at various times as some are paper and some are more modern. There are fold lines across each lithograph. 6 are 53 x 42 inc frame, 2 are 50 x 40cm inc frames. There are signs of damp/ brown speckles.
