19th century cylinder musical box, retailed by Wales and McCulloch 'Importers of Highest Class Musical Boxes....cleaned by Swiss worken', playing 12 airs, with tune sheet, Play/Stop and Change/Repeat levers, with left hand-side crank, in wooden case, inlaid decoration, inset mother of pearl and similar to lid, cylinder 41.5cm long, with lifting see through lid, 80.5cm wide, 29cm deep and 19cm tall.
This box would require attention throughout. Although the mechanism winds up, it requires attention and is sold as non working. We havent managed to make it work. Old worm noted across the case and several teeth are missing, mainly to right hand side. Would benefit from a clean throughout. Case also suffered water stains and scuffs also.
