19th century brass inkwell in the form of a lobster with articulated tail, claws and body, the shell hinging to reveal twin white ceramic inkwells impressed registration no. 136502 to base, 34cm long, 18cm wide.

In good original antique condition, all articulated parts move as they should, minor crack to one of the ceramic inkwells.
