A 19th Century 'Lith Picard Lion Geneve' Swiss music wooden box, contains 8 airs, listed on tune sheet under the lid, inlaid marquetry floral design to satinwood lid, box measures 19cm x 36.5cm x 13.5cm.
Play-Stop and Change-Repeat levers working, all teeth present on comb, all the mechanisms apears to be working smoothly, the box has light age related wear but is in otherwise good condition, key is not present but the box is unlocked, in original antique unrestored condition, origin, private collection Mid-Wales.
