Prince William of Orange: an antique heavily carved Wainscoat influenced armchair / carver chair, carved details to include 'Earl of Portland' and 'William Prince of Orange Landing at Torbay, William Bentinck, 5th November 1688', also a carved date of 1692, 161cm tall, 62cm wide, height of seat 50cm.
Displays well and grand, very attractive. Antique wear and repairs noted such as a split to the carved back panel and a repair to left upright also as expected for age.
